Rio Linda residents are invited to gather for an evening of food, fellowship and community support during a Spaghetti Night fundraiser benefiting B.U.D., or Better Understanding Drugs.
The dinner will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, at 627 L Street in Rio Linda. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner served beginning at 6:30 p.m.
B.U.D. works to save lives through drug education, community awareness and the free distribution of naloxone, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. Proceeds from the event will help the organization continue that work in the community.
Dinner tickets are $25 per person. A reserved table for eight is available for $175, offering groups a $25 savings over purchasing eight individual tickets.
The fundraiser will also include raffle prizes. Organizers are encouraging residents to bring their families, friends and neighbors for an evening of good food while supporting a potentially life-saving local mission.
