RIO LINDA, CA – The cap, the gown, the walk across the stage—it is all happening in just a matter of days. Twin Rivers Unified School District has locked in the logistics for the Rio Linda High School Class of 2026 commencement ceremony.
For the families, friends, and neighbors looking to cheer on our local graduates, here is your quick-reference guide on the Who, What, When, Where, and How of the event—including special recognition for this year’s standout scholars.
📅 WHEN is it happening?
- Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
- Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Note for Attendees: Gates typically open early for seating. With 351 students graduating from RLHS this year, giving yourself a healthy buffer for travel and parking is highly recommended.
📍 WHERE is the ceremony?
- Location: Heart Health Park (located at Cal Expo)
- Address: 1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815
- The Venue: There was talk of hosting the graduation ceremony at the RLHS stadium this year, but the logistics of parking and SAFELY hosting that many people wasn’t possible. Moving the ceremony to Heart Health Park gives the Knights a massive, professional stadium backdrop with plenty of room for extended family to attend.

- Livestream Availability: For out-of-town family members or those unable to make it to Cal Expo in person, Twin Rivers USD will be providing an official live broadcast via YouTube. The link will be hosted on the main district website on the day of the event.
🚗 Parking & Stadium Logistics
- Cal Expo Parking: Keep in mind that Cal Expo charges its own independent parking fee per vehicle. Carpooling with family is the best way to save a bit at the gate.
- Stadium Rules: Standard Heart Health Park security measures apply. Expect bag checks at the main entrance, and check school communications regarding prohibited items like air horns, large signs, or oversized balloons that could block the view of other families in the stands.
