Our local parks and recreation districts will be the focus when the Tri-Communities Lunch Bunch meets Thursday, Oct. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pancake Palace, 6225 Watt Ave. in North Highlands.
The announced speakers are:
- Brandy Hosack, general manager of the Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District.
- Scott Graham, district administrator of the North Highlands Recreation and Park District.
- Mike Heller, general manager of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District.
Everyone is welcome at this informal gathering, which brings together people interested in their communities. Attendees are encouraged to bring flyers, publications, business cards and other information to share.
There are no dues, roll calls or attendance obligations. Participants can drop in and leave as their schedules allow, making it an easy opportunity to meet neighbors, exchange ideas and build community connections.
Lunch is no-host, meaning attendees pay for their own meals.
The Tri-Communities Lunch Bunch meets on the first Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m. The remaining 2026 meetings are Oct. 1, Nov. 5 and Dec. 3.
Bring a friend and join the conversation.
