A Rio Linda resident is facing multiple felony charges following a Memorial Day retail theft incident at the Folsom Premium Outlets that quickly escalated to include a foot chase, a stolen firearm, and a significant amount of fentanyl.
On Monday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m., Folsom Police officers responded to the Nike Factory Store after employees reported that several suspects had stolen just under $1,500 in merchandise and fled on foot.
Foot Chase and Drug Seizure
Officers searching nearby businesses and trails spotted a suspect, triggering a foot chase. The suspect was successfully caught and taken into custody. During a search of the area, officers recovered a loaded handgun that had been reported stolen, which they believe was discarded during the pursuit.
In addition to the stolen firearm, officers recovered approximately 58 grams of fentanyl.

Local Resident Among Five Arrested
Four additional suspects connected to the theft were located nearby. Among those booked into custody was 37-year-old Enrique “Kiki” Camarena of Rio Linda.
While four of the suspects were primarily charged with organized retail theft, Camarena faces a much longer list of severe charges. According to Folsom PD, Camarena has been charged with:
- Organized retail theft (490.4(a)(2) PC)
- Possession of a loaded stolen firearm
- Possession of narcotics while armed
- Narcotics sales-related charges
- Resisting arrest
Police also noted that Camarena had an active, outstanding warrant at the time of his arrest.

- Niko Anderson Hardy, 33, of Sacramento (Organized retail theft)
- Travis Allen Knight, 36, of Sacramento (Organized retail theft)
