RIO LINDA — Bargain hunters will have a chance to search for hidden treasures while supporting a local community event when LifePointe Church hosts a Community Rummage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LifePointe Church, 7200 Rio Linda Blvd. in Rio Linda, bringing together multiple sellers for a morning of secondhand shopping, bargain hunting and community connection.
Organizers are inviting residents to stop by and browse the assortment of items offered by participating vendors. With multiple sellers gathered in one location, shoppers can expect the traditional rummage-sale mix of household goods, clothing, collectibles and other secondhand finds.
The event is also open to community members interested in becoming sellers themselves.
Vendor spaces are available for $25 for a 10-by-12-foot space. Vendor setup begins at 7 a.m., an hour before the sale opens to shoppers.
Those interested in reserving a space can sign up in the LifePointe Church lobby or through the registration QR code provided on the event flyer.
The church is promoting the sale under the message “Shop. Save. Support Our Community!” — encouraging residents to find a bargain while spending a Saturday morning with their Rio Linda neighbors.

For sellers, it is an opportunity to clear out closets, garages and storage spaces while making a little extra money. For shoppers, it might be a chance to find something they didn’t know they needed — at a price that’s hard to pass up.
And, as with many of Rio Linda’s best events, it’s another excuse to get out on a Saturday morning and spend some time with our neighbors.
