A chicken and rib dinner in Rio Linda will raise money for the restoration of historic Fire Engine No. 2 on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The all-you-can-eat dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the Rio Linda Elverta Community Center, 810 Oak Lane. Tickets are $35 per person and include sides and soft drinks. The event also will feature guest speakers, door prizes, opportunity drawings and auctions. Sacramento County District 4 Supervisor Rosario Rodriguez is listed as a special guest speaker.
