RIO LINDA, CA — As the spring air settles over the North County, local gardeners and “green thumbs” are preparing for one of the community’s most anticipated horticultural traditions. The Rio Linda Grange #403 has announced its 6th Annual Spring Plant Sale, scheduled for this Saturday, April 11th.
Located at the historic Grange Hall at 1315 G Street, the event will run from 9:00 AM until noon. This annual gathering serves as more than just a marketplace; it is a continuation of Rio Linda’s deep-seated agricultural heritage. Every plant offered has been meticulously started and cared for by Rio Linda Grange members, ensuring they are hardy and ready for local soil.
To accommodate the high demand and logistical constraints of the historic site, this year’s sale will be a Drive-Thru event. Organizers have implemented this format because the facility’s parking lot is too small to safely accommodate more than one vehicle moving at a time. All plants are sold in 3.5″ pots and are priced at $4 each or 3 for $10.
The Grange will accept CASH and credit cards, though please note that card transactions will include a small processing/convenience fee.
For more information, contact the Rio Linda Grange #403 via email at [email protected] or by phone at (916) 991-5148. You can also visit their official website or follow their social media pages for updates on future community workshops and events held at the hall.
