The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District invites you to join them tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th, as we gather to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country.
The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District is hosting a special Veterans Day Flag Display at Depot Park.
What to Expect
- A Sea of Flags: Depot Park, located at 6730 Front Street, Rio Linda, will be covered in American flags, creating a beautiful and moving tribute to our veterans.
- Ceremony Start Time: The flag display is open from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The official ceremony will start at 11:11 am.
- Veteran Stories: The program will include a few local Veterans sharing their inspiring stories and experiences.
- Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided for attendees.
This is a wonderful opportunity to show your support and express your profound gratitude for the sacrifices our Veterans have made to protect our freedoms.
