The Rio Linda FFA Chapter is firing up the grill for their annual Drive-Thru Tri Tip Dinner fundraiser! This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a delicious, family-style meal and support over 300 local students.
When: Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Early pick-up starting at 4:30 PM for orders of 4+ meals) Location: Rio Linda High School Back Parking Lot

For only $65 per Meal (Family Style), your dinner includes:

Looking for some free, family-friendly fun this Halloween season? The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District is hosting a Trunk or Treat event this Friday, October 24th!

Bring the whole family for a night of spooky excitement and sweet treats!

The evening is split between two exciting locations:

Halloween Night Fun! LifePointe Church Hosts Harvest Festival Trunk or Treat
Looking for a safe and fun place for the kids to trick-or-treat this Halloween? LifePointe Church is hosting its annual Harvest Festival and Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 31st!

This family-friendly event is a great way to celebrate the holiday, and entry is FREE!

American Legion #521 to Host U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony
The American Legion Post #521 in Rio Linda invites the community to attend a solemn and respectful U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony next month.

Veterans and patriotic citizens will gather to retire faded and tattered American flags with honor, ensuring they are disposed of properly and respectfully, as prescribed by the U.S. Flag Code.
Bring an old flag and join this important ceremony!
