Founded by local military mom Karrie Anderson, Bluebirds Take Flight is dedicated to supporting newly enlisted military members and their families. As mentioned in an interview on the Rio Linda Online podcast, Karrie and her husband started the non-profit to provide crucial resources and support for military members and their families, with this fundraiser being a key event to ensure their mission can continue. The organization’s mission is to provide crucial resources, guidance, and a sense of home to those just beginning their service journey.
